Le bureau Olivier Vallat Architectes a ouvert à Genève en 1991 après qu'Olivier Vallat ait obtenu son diplôme d'architecte de l'Ecole d'Architecture de l'Université de Genève et occupé un poste de collaborateur dans le bureau d'architectes Richard Meier & Partners à New York City, de 1989 à 1990, dans lequel il a eu l'occasion de collaborer avec Kenneth Frampton, célèbre critique d'architecture.

Depuis son ouverture, le bureau Olivier Vallat Architectes a œuvré sur plus de 130 dossiers, menant à la réalisation de quelques 60 projets, neufs ou de transformations, de types résidentiels, administratifs et commerciaux. L'agence a également participé à une vingtaine de concours d'architecture. En outre, une activité importante a aussi été déployée dans le cadre d'analyses de faisabilité et d'expertises sur de multiples dossiers. Le bureau compte actuellement une douzaine de collaborateurs.

Olivier Vallat, architect in Geneva

Olivier Vallat opened his office in Geneva in 1991, under the name of Olivier Vallat Architects, after obtaining his degree in architecture from the School of Architecture of the University of Geneva and working as an intern at Richard Meier & Partners in New York City from 1989 to 1990, where he collaborated with Kenneth Frampton, the famous architecture reviewer.

Since its opening, Olivier Vallat Architects agency has worked on more than 130 projects, leading to the achievement of some 60 of them, whether new or renovated, residential, administrative or commercial. The agency has also participated in twenty or so architectural competitions. Besides, the firm has also been very active in analysis, feasibility and expertise assignments for many projects. It now employs a dozen professionals.
